Large exhibiton at both The National Gallery and at Kunstnerforbundet. More than 80 paintings were exhibited. Most of the paintings in the exhibition were in private collections and had not been shown for several decades, some were also seen by a Norwegian audience for the first time.


The National Gallery covered the years of study at the schools of Eckersberg and Bergslien, and the Munich years. Paintings from the time in Paris and later years were shown at Kunstnerforbundet.

In addition to the Paintings a number of sketches and sketchbooks were also on view.
