Exhibition at the National Museum in Stockholm in the fall of 1968 with Norwegian art from The Migration Age to the early 1900s. A special focus was howerer granted to wooden sculpture and carwings from The Middle Ages and painting from the 1800s. In total 370 objects and artworks were exhibited, everything from sliver broches and carved church portals to graphic art.

The exhibition was thematically linked to "Dansk Guldålder" or "Danish Golden Age" from four years prior which in a similar manner had shown Danish Art to a Swedish audience.


Harriet Backer was represented with six paintings.
