Exhibition of Norwegian Art at the Palais des beaux-artes in Brussels in March of 1950. The exhibition consisted of 163 Norwegian paintings, drawings and prints from the early 1800s to the middle of the 1900s. Among the artists in the exhibition there were established names such as I.C. Dahl, Hans Gude, Harriet Backer, Erik Werenskiold, Nikolai Astrup and Edvard Munch, but also more contemporary artists such as Arne Ekeland and Reidar Aulie.

The exhibition had previously been shown at the Gemeentemuseum Den Haag in The Hauge.
 

Harriet Backer was represented with five paintings.
