Large memorial exhibition at Kunstnernes hus in January of 1933 the year after Harriet Backer's death. With more than 100 paintings this is the largest ever exhibition of Harriet Backers pictures. It was also the first exhibition where a large number of her early works were exhibited and multiple paintings from her years of study in Christiania (Oslo) and Munch where shown for the first time. The exhibition also had a sceond part with 91 works by the painter Lars Jorde.
