Large separate exhibition in Trondheim in the spring and early summer 2008. The exhibition was a collaboration between the art museums in Trondheim and Gothenburg and was the first separate exhibition of Harriet Backers paintings in Trondheim. The works in the exhibition spanned from her early years in Christiania (Oslo) and Munich until her last paintings from the 1920s and early 30s. A large part of the exhibition was dedicated to Harriet Backers many visits to Nord-Østerdalen and several of her paintings made during her summers there were exhibited.
