Large separate exhibition in Trondheim in the summer and fall of 2008. The exhibition was a collaboration between the art museums in Gothenburg and Trondheim and was the first separate exhibition held abroad since 1954. The works in the exhibition spanned from her early years in Christiania (Oslo) and Munich until her last paintings from the 1920s and early 30s. A large part of the exhibition was dedicated to Harriet Backers many visits to Nord-Østerdalen and several of her paintings made during her summers there were exhibited.
